February 28, 2014 – The Healing Justice Coalition in Los Angeles invites faith communities, schools, and universities to unite in prayer, service and action during Juvenile Justice Month of Faith and Healing (JJMFH). During the month of March, the Coalition will host activities to raise awareness about the realities of incarcerated youth, victims of crime, and families of both.
The Healing Justice Coalition invites faith leaders to visit youth at juvenile hall. Formerly incarcerated youth and victims of crimes also are available to present speak panels at places of worship and schools. These cross-over experiences focus on actions that help heal the wounds caused by crime. Contact Javier Stauring, Archdiocese of Los Angeles, (213) 438-4820 or
for more information.
